US president's visit
US President George W. Bush is greeted by OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría during a visit to the OECD headquarters on 13 June 2008.
Mr Bush delivered a speech in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Marshall Plan, whose spirit the OECD “carries […] into a new century”. President Bush’s speech touched on the Franco-US friendship–“France was America’s first friend”–US-European relations, and wider global issues, including international security. A video and transcript of the speech is available at www.oecd.org
