According to an online readership survey conducted between September and October 2003, 33% of readers are part of government bodies, against 27% working in the private sector. Further informal analysis in 2005-2007 broadly confirms these patterns. The vast majority of readers use the Observer for their work (79%) and are of prime-working age (25-54). The online version, www.oecdobserver.org, attracted over 90,000 visits per month in October-December 2007, with some 320,000 pages served per month on average.
The French version (www.observateurocde.org) clocked up some 60,000 visits/200k pages served per month on average in the same period Oct-Dec 2007.
