    Public interest in globalisation has increased, and so has the OECD's collaboration with civil society organisations, with positive spin-offs for the quality of analysis, policymaking and partnerships. Though our organisation has been engaged with civil society since its creation, through the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC) and the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC), our member countries now believe that wider dialogue builds trust in public institutions and improves our understanding of global economic and social challenges.
